    We're unveiling a new mural by Detroit artist Tony Whlgn — a lasting tribute to Eastern Market and to Mose Primus Sr., the first known Black butcher at Gratiot Central Market. Happy hour and a patio cookout run 6–9, in step with First Wednesdays. Come meet Tony, stay for the block.

    Free and open to the public — no ticket needed.

    Eastern Market's open-air Wednesday night takeover, with music, food, drinks, and art across the district. At Marrow: outdoor grilling featuring Marrow favorites paired with grab-and-go beverages, plus drink specials inside. Music by DJ Jenny La Femme at Riopelle & Winder, with neighbors from Detroit City Distillery, Eastern Market Brewing, Supino Pizzeria, Pietrzyk Pierogi, Well Done Goods and more joining in.
